The Fhima Family Experience was embedded into our modern family and American story by Chef Fhima. Now, over 130 years old, this starter is the foundation of our bakery and epitomizes our story.

Enjoy just sampling of our menu below. All of our offerings are made in-house, from scratch. Our breads and pastries are made fresh daily and our sauces and dressing are made on premises. Perfect for a grab-and-go lunch or a meeting on-site in our lounge. Mother Dough Bakery currently has two locations, both in the Capella Tower in downtown Minneapolis. Each location has a slightly different menu offering. Enjoy hand-selected wine and craft beer at our fire-side location on the main level.

This place is great! I stopped by with a coworker and Sean (the manager) was super informative about the food & drink offerings. I don't usually order tea, but ended up getting the Chamomile and Sean gave us the background about how the tea was hand selected from a farm in Germany and that all the teas are delivered from across the world.My coworker and I both got the chocolate croissant which was delicious. I can't wait to return to try their breads and sandwiches.

I got a cold brew and an almond croissant on a weekday morning. The cold brew was delicious. Strong and balanced. I always have to try the almond croissant when places have it on the menu and it did not disappoint, worth the price. It had a nice ratio of filling to pastry. The space itself is beautiful. It makes you feel like you can stop by for a quick glass of wine or linger for hours.

Wow. I’ve had the breakfast sandwich before but when I had the smoked salmon baguette… wow, I was blown away… I have to say it was one of the best if not the best ever salmon baguettes I’ve had. I’d definitely recommend. It’s a must try.

I loved the breakfast sandwich! It’s the best in town! Their chocolate croissant was also to die for. Loved the service- Sean and Moses were so kind and prompt to assist and help with any suggestions. Coffee was also oh so perfect 😋

Whenever I try somewhere new, I get the basics. At Mother Dough, I stopped for a black coffee and an almond croissant and they didn’t disappoint. My coffee was brewed excellently and with a crisp finish and the croissant was essentially perfect; it was layered expertly and had a nice flaky crust (but not so much that it becomes messy, especially for on-the-go orders). Overall great experience and staff, so I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I need a reliably-high quality breakfast stop downtown. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu!
